I understood your point, I was just replying to Klaxner's statement about the impossibility to do so. ![]()
About the speed increase, the original CPU speed has to be considered. If it is a 600 MHz CPU downgraded to 434, maybe it could be increased to 500 or so, obviously considering the greater power consumption and worse battery life, but if it is a less powerful CPU it is hardly overclockable.

Not quite so. 5800XM came out with ARM11 369 MHz CPU which was changed with V20 firmware to 434 MHz. As far as I know, the same CPU core is used currently in E5, E72 and a couple of other Sym9.3 models and all of S^3 ones. There is a matter of CPU instructions, but the architecture is the same, so the raw frequency could be changed.
Yes, the battery life is in question also, but I charge my phone on practically daily basis, so few hours more or less makes no difference, but device performances do.

O,now I see. Sorry if I offended you, just though something else. I think that that processor is downclocked because same processor on Nokia N8 is up to 600MHz.Hope with next firmware phone will work very fast and without bugs as it should for that money![]()

Actually, N8's CPU runs at 680 MHz ![]()
I do believe, while OS speed and responsivness won't be somewhat better (it's not on E72 with 600 MHz CPU compared to 6120c @369), 3rd party software and especially (hopefully) video players will benefit from this. It would be great to be able to watch divx/xvid encoded files and NOT to reencode them to mp4 and whatnot. Defies the purpose of a smartphone as a potentially versatile video player.

Hi Nokia developers.
Again I want a new firmware!
The v30 FW only solves a few little bugs but missed to fix the main bugs like the "Date switching" problem.
And again I call for the possibility to make the phone USB chargeable!!!
So please come up with a firmware that lets me forget all the issues (we will have had) with the current X6 and motivates me to buy NOKIA again.
