Just bought x1-01. The dual sim functionality is very poor, the antenna wasn't built for it, it seems seems. Also facing a lot of software problems like the phonebook shows only some contacts for selection while sending a message. While playing music, it hangs and has to be restarted. While reading messages, it hangs a restarts. While reading calendar it hangs and restarts.

As it is a new mobile these problems are expected as all phone of new brand face these problems..
There will be a software update coming soon and it will fix all these problems..
and not to forget all the complaints about the phones your have to mention so that they can fix it as soon as possible ..![]()

I have bought it on June 29, I bet you it has a weak antenna, taking to my surprise, It is always showing only one sim as active at any time. Waste of money....

I went to Nokia care with this issue, they took my mobile(X1 - 01) and identified that there was a problem in the board. They asked me to wait for a week (to send that to Delhi) to fix that. But still surprise, how Nokia has come to poor quality products..!!! So, dont sell it, just give one more try as you dont have to pay anything in the warranty period.

Finally I have got it back from Nokia care, and still it has the problem - signal of one sim suddenly goes off. I dont know whether it is a problem with the SIM, phone/firmware...can anyone help?

I am facing the same issue. One of the sims frequently loses network strength, zero coverage bar. Both the sim go off, and automatically come back again. Don't know what to do. I checked other forums too, seems like the problem exists only for a particular batch of phones.

i bought new nokia x1-01
in dual sim mode it suddenly drops signals .

I have bought a new X1-01 moblle yesterday only but I am very dissapointed by the quality of mobile selling by NOKIA now a days....just rubbish....I am facing the same problem i.e. poor antenna.....not able to receive any calls unless you restart your mobile every hour....and tell one of your friend to please chk whether its working or not(By requesting him to plz give me a miss call).
I want to get rid of this problem ASAP....plz suggest what can I do with this rubbish phone provided by reputed NOKIA inc...

Hi,
Nokia is aware of this issue and sw version 5.34 fixes most of those issues.
But i am not able to give anytime table for releasing the sw version,but soon enough.

Today I bought...while sending few SMS.I noticed the cell went off n restarted again...without testing how come Nokia launched this faulty firmware in X1..Better nokia should 've delayed launch...This is breaching the trust on nokia cells...!

I recently purchased X1-01, i'm facing same issue... Signal strength is too low... it looses coverage frequently.. waste of money..... one should go for Samsung Duos E 1252

agreed on above posters.... its SW is buggy. But its music capabilities are great for a low cost phone but i bought a phone not a music player. So far as a phone it sucks. We need the update ASAP.

Bought this today. It looked nice at the start, but the signal in the SIM2 seems to go on and off every 10 minutes. It's appalling that nokia would release such a product. I'm going to wait for a while to see if they release any software updates and then take it to the store to get it fixed. Else I will surely be disappointed and I will never purchase a Nokia product ever again, and tell everyone I know to forgo Nokia forever.

I need you help. recently i bought nokio x1-01 mobile. i need one clarification, while calling in the first sim my second sim network is fully down(no point of network, after disconnects the call its good). if i call in another sim the same problem remains.
what is the problem. is this problem in my mobile or in the mobile model itself, kindly any one clarify this.

The SW version of my phone is 5.29, all the signal problem experienced by me. So, when and where can I get my phone updated to 5.34 in China, I contacted Nokia Care and the Call Center in China, they know nothing about the v5.34 SW. So, where should I turn to for help?
