Re: Poor Battery Life of my Nokia X6 16GB

Hi,

I have had same problem just till yesterday,. I have been going through all the forums discussing the quick drain of the battery. Daily I had to charge the phone thrice a day and still it seemed to be power hungry

My X-6 16Gb is almost one year old, and it performed well until month may this year.

Earlier its battery was overheating and finally the display was gone DEAD !

I took to the service center they replaced the Display with the new one and I had purchased the new battery also the earlier one was soon getting drained, and soon after that the motion sensors were faulty. I again took to service center and this time they finally changed the set and gave me a new piece. Now the problem of over heating and quick draining of the battery continued.

I went through all available forums regarding this problem and did accordingly but in vain. finally i found this website http://www.digipassion.com/2010/01/how-to-hard-resetformat-nokia-5800-n97.html

This has a method of HARD RESTTING the device and the device goes back to original factory setting and this way I got my device working normal and the battery drain problem is no more there now. It was also recommended to load Netqin mobile guard V 3.0.0.2 this software will help you to tune the mobile to optimum power usage and battery saving.

Hope this helps all the readers who have problem with X-6 and other smart phones.
