Been playing up a little strangely for the last day or so, but now, it is completely f_ked.

I remove the battery, put the battery back in, and switch on. The screen will flash white for a second, the nokia on tone will play, and that's it. Screen goes blank, and keypad will not light up.

The phoine is still switched on, as it makes the small vibration when touching the touch screen, but the keypad does not light up, and the screen remins black.

Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a solution? I'm not sure where my warranty is, or if I even have one, as I bought this phone (brand new) from ebay.

If anybody can even confirm this is a common problem, that'd be great

this happens sometimes with all phones
you will have to send it to a nokia care center

having the same problem with my x3-o2. already brought to nokia care center, not fixed. still having recurring issue.

It looks like this is a common problem. Had the same problem with mine. I just returned my one and got my money back. Apparently X3-02 is not the only one with the same problem, I just red about the N8 behaving in the same way. I think Nokia should stop selling these phones. I don't know why they are still keeping symbian alive.

There are few reports that users are having the same problem as yours but Nokia got you covered as long as the phone's warranty is valid in your country.

Go here to check if your phone is still within the warranty period. *Nokia care warranty only applies to the country it has been brought from.
