I just happen to install windows 7 ultimate 32bit version, pc suite 7.1  was working just fine with vista 32bit but with win 7 it is not loading messages, or sometimes contacts, and the most important thing i could connect to the internet through my phone which is n96 with vista and i cant with win7.

and  I've read 7.1 is supporting only xp and vista what about 7?

Is labelled as having been tested or having fixes for windows 7 - it only came out in the last few days.

I have it running on Windows 7 64-Bit which is normally more of a challenge than the 32-bit, and its running fine.

PC Suite is not the best piece of software Nokia invented.  Ovi Suite 2.0 is far better and will eventually replace PC Suite when Nokia scrap it.

Ovi Suite is a piece of **bleep**. Bloated, Slow, and has half of the features PC Suite have. I'm also keeping PC Suite as long as it exists.

Thanks to Ovi suite I was able to update my N97 to v20 FW  which I was unable to do with Nokia PC Suite 7.1 or Nokia Software updated. I do agree the PC suite does more though.

I recently upgraded the firmware on my N97 - it now reads 20.0.027; Ever since the ungrade, PC suite will not sync the contacts - always giving error message. I tried installing PC suite 7.1.30, but the error exists - which means that the N97 firmware is not suite compatible or what ???

I am having issuse here.

I have Windows 7 Prof 64 Bit OS.

Nokia PC Suite Software & Nokia Software Updater both are unable to detect Nokia N79 phone.

However when I connect the phone, it is installing drivers.

Why this is happening ?

Please help me out.
