update problem

hi,

I start running the update software wizard, the first step says detecting your phone, then says searching for a connected phone, here, suddenly a message comes saying that my phone has been disconnected form the pc. but my phone is connected my cable.

is there any other way on how i can install the software update wizard other than using the cable? with blutooth does not work, it wants cable connection.

Hi,

Before starting the update, ensure that PC Suite can detect your mobile. Next, shutdown PC Suite and start the update.

2 things to watch here:
1. For some N and E series, e.g N80 (which I own :smileysad: ), the mobile cable connection is highly sensitive. So once its connected, don't touch it.
2. PC Suite needs to be stopped or it may interfer with the update wizard, at least for me.
