i purchased N95 from London but using it in India and want to get its software update but in India nokia care told they cant update it as it is not from india what shuld i do......??????????and it had a default network carrier T-Mobile. but here i am using a different network carrier so if i update its software then i can be free of using any network carrier....??????  please help me out

Sounds like your phone is sim locked to T-Mobile UK. Updating the firmware will not remove this lock. The lock should only be removed by first obtaining the unlock code from the network it is locked to which in this case is T-Mobile. Once you have the code, you can unlock with the code using the procedure outlined in the post linked below.

If you were able to use sim's from other carriers before then the phone is not sim locked. Updating the firmware should not affect the lock one way or another. You can update firmware yourself by using Ovi Suite.
