dear all i have downloaded nokia software updater and when my phone is finshed upgrade my languge isn't install like as arabic language and my work with this one so what can i do please it's important

Check the settings in the phone menu - is Arabic still there? Maybe the phone just switched to another language and you can manually set it back to Arabic?

There are several languages in every sw version so I'm guessing that's the problem.

After firmware upgrade u will lose arabic AND/OR hebrew from ur phone...

Probably there is no Arabic language pack in the firmware that you have applied. You have to contact your local Nokia service to install language pack probably. I don't really know the way Nokia does their firmware updates, but I guess so.

these issues will be down to the phones being grey imports - they were not meant for the market in the middle east.

I suggest to contact to seller first with your comments about language. They must fix it without charge. Otherwise, contact to Nokia service center.

nokia wont be able to help

if they have bought a phone that is not meant to be for sale in that country (they have, this is why they have lost arabic and gained english - there are a lot of posts here from people saying they got a phone in the UK and sent it back home to pakistan...) then nokia will not repair it under warranty.

they need to make a complaint to the store that sold it to them (if it was bought in the UK then this doesnt stand, they will just have to make do with an english phone)

When you connect the phone to the software it checks what productcode it has. The productcode written in the label has the info of which country and languagepack and if it´s branded and so on. If the phone is bought from another country or as said "grey imports" then the Nokia Software Updater will flash it with the SW that is sees that the phone is supposed to have. And ofcourse this is the only way for Nokia to handle it otherwise branded phones and grey imports would be a huge problem.
