Hi, i have nokia 701 and i have problem with camra program . i can't take photo to paper or any document , because the mobile haven't autofocus , it have fullfocus , and i have problem with this . please helpe me . is there scaner camra program for this mobile?

Even if you install any scanner programme its going to use the Phone camera.. so I think your problem remains...

There's an app on Nokia Store called MDScan (http://store.ovi.com/content/114227?clickSource=search&pos=1).

Even if your camera is full focus, this app is almost guaranteed to help you scan your documents and make them seem clear enough for you to read.

You can goto ur camera settings and autofocus->on but maybe it can help u m not sure.

There's not such an option for 701 as it has full focus camera, not auto focus.

Have you got the Store App on your phone?
If so use that and search for MDScan.

May be trying to take the snap from a distance of 50 cm and using zoom function will help you get better clarity of your documents. I've a C7 with full focus and I take snaps of documents this way. The results are better.

I dropped my phone the other day and the front facing camera module on my C7 completely broke away from the circuitry it was soldered onto (same camera specs as 701). There's a definite weakness there because the module wasn't physically hit.

Anyway, until this happened, whenever I needed to take a document scan I'd use the front facing camera. Even though this camera is fixed focus like the rear camera, it's been set up to view your face from closeup, unlike the rear camera which has been setup to have more distant objects in focus. This solution worked well for me.

It's a shame that no barcode scanners I tried could switch to the front facing camera, because it could focus on these perfectly.
