I have 5310 and using OVI Suite, and it's doing everything it does except updating both itself and my mobile 5310.
1)When I go to the update page, it just keep saying "Checking for updates" for hours and hours. I tried to give it some time thinking it does need a lot of time to check, but waiting for more than 12 hours is just redicilious. I kept it over night and slept and when i came back it was still checking!!
So anyone knows whats wrong with it ?
2)i tried for alternate method.I downloaded latest NSU.Its not working in win 7.then i changed the compatibility mode then it installed.But wen i opened it just keep saying "starting NSU.." and not responding..plz help
My current firmware is 9.42. i came to know that latest version is 10.10 but not able to update by both methods.I am using windows 7 and connectin type is usb cable.hoping for a solution

i forgot to tell that i tried it in xp too..same problem appears..
is there any solution for this bug except going to customer care

Is this on the same network? If it is working, you should either get a message that there is a new update available or that you currently have the most recent update for your particular phone. Did you check your product code here?
