i am not able to update firmwere from v 20.0.005 to v 30.0.003.
country : india
phone : nokia :x6 16gb
type : RM: 559
network : airtel

update was getting downloaded but when it starts updating it says not supported contact service provider. i am updating using phone GPRS connection. Please tell what is the problem and how to update the firmware.

Problem 2 : now when i try to seach firmware updqte using *#0000# it searches for update and gives error "SERVER NOT RESPONDING" Please tell whqt is the problem how to update to new firmwere?

I bought this x6 16g last week n tried udating it with the inbuilt updater and got the same message. I tried again to make sure i did it right bt same thing, after the download, i confirmed its prompt to update it and my phone rebooted. It did try to update but that stupid line couldn't even leave its starting place before that same stupid message popped up. I'll be using a friends pc to try again when he gets to my house. I'm not certain it won't write the same thing but using pc did work well for me when i was using 6303i classic. But then, it was a s40v5 and this is s60v5. I'm even giving this phone a lil thumb up for even recognizing there is available firmware for the 6303i classic could not. Try using pc for this.

i cannot update my firmware from original version 12.0.091. he software updater applications are telling me that this is the most up to date version, and no updates are available. i am in ireland with x6 model RM-559, network is three...

I'm getting the same error - "not supported, contact service provider." The other error which you're seeing appears to be a network and/or configuration problem.
