nokia 5800 XM Updating to 20.0.0.12 HELP , THe phone wont update

Recently i got this phone and i wanted to install this firmware the phone does everything correct but it seems stuck in this process

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  i did the same but it is not going to update it anyway

 

 

 

also in mass storage mode the removable disk frequently disconnects and reconnects

do as it says on the NSU.

 

make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 10seconds then plug the usb cable then battery and then finally the charger and press the on button. if that still does not work try connecting the phone in a different usb port. (make sure its not keyboard usb port).

i did the same and i am useing the usb port on back of my my cabinet . Also i get some error related to device driver in windows , it says that the required inf has something missing .   i am useing windows XP service pack 3 .

hmmm. do the following:

- Uninstall PC Suite

- Uninstall Nokia Sofware Updater

- Uninstall any Nokia Cable drivers, Connectivity cable drivers, modem drivers etc in the Add/Remove Programs

- Restart PC

- Reinstall Nokia Software Updater

- Reinstall Nokia PC Suite

- Restart PC

 

Now connect your phone & try, see it if works.
