i recently bought 5800 XM (Black) which is build in Nov'09 & comes with v 21. bought it from nokia store. tried to update with nokia updater & with the phone but it says no update available whereas v 31.0.101 available! then i used the product code to search online in nokia & also there it says no update available!! why the update isn't available for this product or am i doing wrong? didn't guess so. plz help.

Take it to Nokia Care and do it, its the best and very fast way.

I also have the same problem...i bought the red one from Vodacom store and it came with FW 21..
i have seen on the net there is FW31 out but i cant update OTA or from NSU on the pc..
its irritating....

if v31 is avialable in ur country then u can get it in nokia care center free of cost if u r under warranty or if not they will charge u somewhat so get it from them

ya... v31 for my 5800 XM at last! just updated it... lets see wht's the difference got from previous versions......
