After updated the firmware, I found that my battery very quickly run out of battery! Anyone also feel it so?

I get that too. I think it's because the data connection is always active now. i.e the little arrows appear under the 3.5g text constantly. If I close the connection manually, it appears again immediately.

Under Settings->Connectivity->Administrative settings->Packet data->Packet data connection
set it to "When needed"
Anyway, the impact on battery life should be 'minimal' ... it should last at the very least 2 days.... mine lasts for more than a week ...

If it lasts 3 days it's ok, if it barelly lasts 1 day, then your CPU is being taxed 100% all the time, you may have an stray application misbehaving...
Install "Energy Profiler" from Ovi store (or go to nokia beta labs, it should be there), it's free and works pretty well.
First make sure no known applications are running.
Run Energy Profiler, start recording, lock the phone by moving the locking slider, this should turn LCD off, wait a bit... a minute or so, unlock it, and stop recording.... look at energy consumption when the lcd was off (by double touching you can do some readings and zoom, it's a bit buggy but should give you an idea)
It should read 0.02~0.04W (something around 7mA)
If you have more than that (it can be a lot more) you have something running on the background that is eating your battery...
If that thing is running because/from memory card, turn mobile phone off, remove the memory card and turn it on again, run the measurements again (for this to work you must have Energy Profiler on phone memory) ..... if it gets noticeable lower, then there is something wrong on the memory card... it could be caused by corruption (it happenned to me about three times)... this is easy to fix, but painful because you have to reinstall everything again after formating the card.
If the memory card remotion shows no change to battery consuption, you may have to hard reset the phone to kill the culprit... however, before taking such harsh measures, i suggest you check Installed Applications list and see if you can find the stuff that is causing problems, just make sure you don't delete stuff like OpenC, Qt, Python or C++ API libraries that help other applications to work..
Good luck...
Oh... if there isn't anything wrong with reported energy consumption, you may want to check battery contacts, they may get dirt or oxidation that degrades electric conduction... also bent contacts are no good.... if you are up to cleaning them, do it carefully and with non metalic/conductive stuff, as shorting a battery is the fastest way to kill it ....
Hope it helps :]

Thanks for the tips on battery usage. I already had the "only when needed" option and also tried the option to make it prompt for a connection. It would prompt immediately on booting. If I said "no" - it still connected. Frustratingly, it didn't tell me what was connecting. So I knew something was but there's no way to see what processes are using data.
I tried a few more things and did some more searching. Found a thread somewhere on this site where the guy solved it by un-installing Nokia e-mail/messaging. I tried that and it said it had to stop a process to continue, as soon as it did that, the connection dropped! I've now got 2 days usage instead of 1 again.
It's a shame there's no way to see how much CPU or data a process is using. Without that, knowing that some background app is using up battery is of no use. You're totally blind.

Ah yes -.-'' Email application doesn't respect the settings and it actually uses every connection... IDK if it's a bug or by design... but It made me remove it because of that unauthorized connection....
