my n96 has a software problem causing the keys not working well ... and it's turned off and i am not able to write the lock code to open it because the 8 key when i click it , it is automtically deleted so i am unable to open the mobile and restore it to factory settings,, and i dunno wat to do ,,,, please help

I suggest you reformat your phone via reset during the power on (hold * 3 and Green Button during power on).

The problem is not due to software but it is hardware problem. You can't do anything by yourself so go to nearest Nokia Service Centre and give them your mobile. They will solve your problem.
