Hi all,
next observation: on thursday (2009-01-29) I set a single alarm for monday (2009-02-02) 07:00.
On friday, when I switched on the phone ... eh, yes ... the date appeared as thursday 2009-01-29, whilst time remained unchanged. I reset the date to 2009-01-30 and when switching the phone off and then on again later on friday the date was not changed.
Same game on saturday when switching the phone on. Then I cleared that alarm and entered a new one: deactivated, daily, 07:00. And guess ... today morning (sunday), when switching on the phone for the first time of the day, the date appears correctly as expected: sunday 2009-02-01.
If I had to guess, the date-changing-problem appears when there are weekend-spanning alarms, that should omit weekend-days - the drawback is triggered only once a day-change - it only appears when phones are switched off over midnight.

well i too seem to be affected by this, my phone is over a year old and has never had this problem until i updated the firmware a few weeks ago. my first thought was it is a firmware issue. i can confirm i also switch the phone off during the night and have weekday alarms set PS, i have V31.0.017 firmware

Hi,
this is a known bug introduced in the latest firmware. Fortunately a workaround is available and explained here:
