hi.i'm reza from iran .i update my firmware to 30.014 from 12.xx but i found problem with my gps.after update gps works very poor .veey long time need to can connect to satellite about 5-7 min (before 1-2 min) and when connection is done its drop many times and lost satellite .im enable a-gps too but dosent change! and gps mostly show wrong direction!! pls help! & sorry about my language   i use garmin or other 3rd party apps but my problem is connect to satelite is very slow after update firmware

I have exactly the same problem with my N78 internal GPS after updating firmware. Extremely slow to find satelites, drops out constantly and inaccurate. All of the settings appear the same as before the update when the GPS worked great.

I need this sorting asap as i use sportstracker/maps daily

before i updated firmware it was working fine now its not. Im using garmin for map even nokia's pre-installed gps data doesnt work. can u help pls?

I took my phone to a Nokia service center. They reloaded the latest firmware and the GPS now works. One thing they did mention is the phone back cover is the gps antenna and its important the inside of the cover is clean where the contacts meet. If the software reload had not worked they said they would replace the back cover
