a phone depends on ram and processor just like a normal computer, so just increasing the amount of ram will not make your phone faster although it will allow you to run more application at a time in the background. As far as my knowledge goes it is impossible to increase ram on a phone because the ram is embedded in the main motherboard and even if replacement is possible i have never heard anyone do it coz it is very risky and you may fry your whole board, the ram in the phone is not the standard ram modules that we see in the aptops and desktops, rather it is a part of the chip itself..i would recommend that instead of increasing your ram physically which is impossible you buy a task manager software such as the :handy taskman" which allow you to monitor the apps running in the background and free up ram by closing apps and in the process you will free up your ram and that will allow your phone to run faster and more efficiently.

But, if you install all applications and games on your memory card.....you would end up whith around 60mb free space on your c drive (internal memory).
Is it possible to allocate a specified amount of that storage to system ram? (it should be fast enough).
I think some applications crashes are related to low free memory (~ 42 mb of ree ram) because sometimes they close without warning or some of them freezes completely like Garmin Mobile XT which is really annoying.
