can any one help me with few question below.

1. what is the latest sofware version for nokia 5800.

2 How do you update it.because when i try to update it ask me to creat new server profile. whic i don't know how to creat.

please help.

Depending on which colour phone you've got, the country you live in & whether you're phone is branded or not (tied to a network), the current version for most phones is V21.

Some phones (mine included) which are sim-free/contract free have V30.

I would recommend that if your phone is working correctly, that you DO NOT upgrade your firmware to V30, it's buggy & horrid.

If you want to know the settings then White Key-Settings-Phone-Phone Mgmt-Device Updates-Options-Settings.

There you should find a Option "Default server profile", it should be Always Ask, but if you tap it, you'll get the option to change it to Nokia, change it to Nokia, then Exit.

I just wanted to state, that the V30 of the 5800´s FW works great here (battery lasts longer, touch screen much improved, phone is faster - it was underclocked before...)

Be brave and upgrade! You won´t regret it!

Recently installed version 21.0.025 on my nokia 5800xm the problem is that the lights make a call (green), disconnects the call (red) and menu (white) are constantly connected.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
