e51 firmware upgrade to 200.34.36 -- SMS problems

I just updated my Nokia e51 to firmware version 200.34.36

Now, I can only open SMS messages of one line or shorter.

Longer messages do not open, and instead of displaying an envelope icon, display a question mark (?).

Can anyone help?

Hi,
reinstall your firmware to solve your problem.
NOKIA means:Night Of King In Alone

I tried.No luck. also re-set service provider's settings.

How can I downgrade firmware??

you cant downgrade it.
take it to nokia care point service to solve your problem.
NOKIA means:Night Of King In Alone

I have same problem. My E51 firmware is 220.34.37. Have you solved the problem?

I have a letter from my service provider wanting me to update software to 400.34.001 (whatever that is) but the steps you have to go to - just want a phone that works not the guf should I upgrade and what happens if I don't?
