hi can anybody help been trying to update my n97 to the v 2 update and need to clear some space on the undersized c drive on the phone as well only i can not do it. Every time i try using nsu i get a message saying theres a config error and if i try with ovi suite i get a code 4 error.
i'm running vista home basic with windows firewall(the built in one (yes i know its not good)), nod 32 anti virus and connecting to the net via a wireless netgear router (with built in nat firewall)on a virgin media connection, does anybody have any ideas what i'm doing wrong
thanks in advance

Have you tried hard reset on your N97?

When you are reinstalling the firmware turn of your Antivirus plus firewall as it could prevent the data being recieved from Nokia. Or If you are using Windows 7 Nokia Software Updater is not compatible with it yet I think.
You can uninstall NSU and run a registry scan to fix up the invalid registries, and then reinstall NSU.
Sometimes this can be caused by the Microsoft Internet connection sharing (ICS) in Microsoft Windows Vista and XP.
"Select "Show All Connections" - one of the connections that appears may have a "hand" icon imposed on it, select that connection and then right click on the icon, then select "Properties" from the menu that appears.
Select the "Advanced" Tab from the window that opens. Then uncheck the "Allow Other Network Users to connect through this computers internet connection"
You should then OK all the windows, restart the computer and try Nokia Software Update again.
Shared connections in Vista will also cause the problem, and is indicated in a similar fashion, in the network connections, from the Network and Sharing Centre.
Shared connections can be made by accident when creating connections. "

tried uninstalling both ovi suite and nsu and turning off the av and the windows firewall ,don;t know how to turn off the nat one in the router, but still nothing .did the hard reset and reformated the mass memory so back to factory settings, virtually no computer security at all i even tried installing the newer beta ovi suite oh and i tried bypassing the wireless router and connecting the computer straight to the cable broadband modem thing and still nothing .
i'm completley stumped
