Which things are change in a software update..is it change formats of videos&add new video playback formats to it..my second problem is my battery backup issue..in beginning it's battery backup was very good..it's for 2-3 days..but now it's for only 1 day&while using net..it drains quickly..in 3-4 hours..it's battery condition is good..i have this phone abou 4-5 months..can a software update solve it or should i change my battery..i have it's it's latest firmware version v8.63...please reply..thanks...!

take your phone to a nokia care center and they can test your battery and tell you weather it is good or bad.

Its different for different models. You have to see the Change Log when a Firmware update is released to see what changes have been incorporated...
