Hello Nokia!!! FW update for my N95 8GB NAM (RM-421) very soon or I will jump ship and bail!!  Flopped down some good money for this FLAGSHIP phone of yours to not get the support it deserves!  Read the posts on this thread, Nokia peoples!

i have updated my N95-3 Last week & found alot of bugs in it , Its strange what nokia doing in their labs dont they test the firmwares for bugs before they release ? If i dont get a update soon then it will be mine last phone of nokia . Now a days Nokia isnt so good as per their service & quality issues . Nokia Service Station Really suxs . Lol I have little story ( last week me & my friend have been to service station as his 5800 was having a hanging issue , can u guess how many days they asked to keep that phone with them ? Its 30 days yes 30 days for flashing a phone . OMG I Laughed alot in the service station . Anyways Thanks Nokia .

I'm sorry that you are frustrated with the availability of software for your N95-3.

Certain approvals need to be granted in each country before the software can be released, and those have been too slow in coming.

To solve that problem, we have now changed the way we build all of our software variants. That specifically should speed up releases for the Americas.

Can you address 4 questions that I have. . .
 
1) the 'change' in software construction sounds like a recent development, is it?
 
2) Can you comment on why this thread has gone nearly 8 months until its first Nokia response?
 (another complaint is the unresponsive nature of Nokia's forums, as well as their past software team performance for NAM phones)
in other words,
has there been any change with Nokia to notify the responsible parties inside Nokia when a forum reports a problem/complaint as it has done here?
 
- is it because nothing could be done prior to now?
 
3) Are you then saying that a firmware update will be released?

This phone is getting long in the tooth but should at least have native accelerometer support with a new firmware!

Why do i have to install an app to enable it?

I dont understand how nokia can ignore enabling all features on a flagship handset!
