was almost one year but no new firmware,,

Will there another firmware for N73??? This version is too old and ram too low,,

It's highly unlikely that the N73 will see another update, it's just too old now.

None of the original S60v3 phones appear to be getting updates now.  Also updates for the later S60v3FP1 phones like the N95, N82 also seemed to have slowed right down but they may see one final update.

Perhaps it's time to sell the N73 and buy a newer model? The N82 would be the perfect replacement as they can be picked up fairly cheaply now.

product code can be found underneath battery it will say something like for example 0506938

There is 4 newer firmware than yours. Im guessing ur model is RM-133

the following 4 are available:

v4.0839.42.2.1

v4.0839.42.3.1

v4.0847.43.3.1

v4.0850.43.0.1

The latest one available is v4.0850.43.0.1 but depends on your product code.

I have N95-8gb and N73,,although N95 is more sophisticated but I prefer N73 (N73 is my taste...)

I dont think those updates will work for you...even if they be available(which they wont)...those were just minor updates only for region specific problem or crisis....

What u should expect is a major update...of which there are almost nil chance to be available...

AFAIK, 4.0839.42.2.1 is the Music Edition and 4.0839.42.0.1 is the normal one.

Well, in ME the Music key (the key above the C button; it has the note symbol on it) is the "Music Key" ie., it will invoke the music player. Whereas, in the normal edition, the Multimedia key (the key above the C button) will give you the option to choose among four apps. Apart from this, there is no other difference.

differences do not seem to happen after update... both are almost same before or after update....its just software development that are similar side by side for both model...  both always have same versions of firmware i.e. 4.0839.42.x.1  where x = 0 for regular n73, 2 for n73me or different for internet editon and operator edition....

Hi all
I found this since yesterday,,

but when i try to update with NSU (Nokia Software Updater) is not yet available (still version 4.0839.x.x.x). 

Please someone explain to me why?
