When will Nokia release new software to the swedish N97?

It can't be the newest right?

web browser ALWAYS crashes.

Gps can't keep up, re-routing all the time and sending me to different places.

The phone Freezes all the time.

I can't update thru phone.

Almost nothing works (I'm not the only one having these problems).

I don't have so many apps or media on my phone but c:\ space is almost full and theres nothing to remove.

It needs to be fixed because i'm starting to doubt Nokia as a company.

AND Maps and guidence aren't free either. U have to pay every month or once a year.

What can I do?

What you should do first to see if you can gain some free space is to open the browser->options-> clear privacy data. - Then change messagememory to E and copy all messages over to the new memory (delete the remaining copys on c). Check if that will give you enough space.

If not:

What you should do is to back up your contacts, messages, calendar notes etc and perform a hard reset. The hard reset will wipe your phone memory and leave you with about 60 megs of free space. Then you change your message memory to E before retrieving your backups... Note that any installed app on C will get deleted and apps on E might need an reinstall. This steps will give you as much space as possible to work with.

AS for the updates, there might be some swedish product codes which have already got the update. It depends on if youre phone is branded, special edition, country variant etc... If it's branded - your provider will have to approve the new fw. If it is a country variant - You will have to blame nokia... just some examples.

Maps are free with the latest dw update, perhaps also v20? someone can confirm that? Can someone confirm if there are a beta maps version with free navigation which will work with v12?

You can also install other browsers like: opera mobile, Bolt, opera mini, skyfire... Even more.

I would recommend Opera mobile!

About the gps - if you bought one of the early devices, you may have a faulty gps antenna. - If you know settings are correct, you might wanna take your phone to a Nokia care point to get it fixed. It's pretty new. 4 month's max. I've tryed Opera and Skyfire. Opera worked gr8 except for some issues. Gps version is 3.0 not 3.03 or 3.3 as i have read. The positioning is very off, I had to buy a 1 month licens to use voiced navigation. I have read that everyone else has ha new software and it differs from mine. it may solve lot of my problems. I have updated the software progam, pc suit and ovi and it says that I already have the newest version which is the old one, It sucks

I know, it aint much we can do about that. You will have to wait.

(What you could try, even though I don't think the care points do it anymore, is to call one and ask if they could update your phone to the newest fw...)

If not, you will, as mentioned, have to wait.
