Unable to upgrade Firmware from V20.0.016 to latest version on my N95 8GB

Everytime i try to perform an update from the nokia software updater i get the following message:

Please note that your mobile service provider, operator or carrier may not have approved the latest nokia device firmware available.

Could someone please help!!

It means exactly what it says. If you have a phone that you got from your operator and you can't update it because you have the latest version available it's because your mobile operator hasn't released any later versions.

This page might answer a few questions: http://linux.sgms-centre.com/nokiafaq/branded-phones/

You'll have to rely on google for that. Unofficial methods of updating firmware on your phone are operations that will void your warranty since they involve using software that is neither distributed nor even condoned by Nokia. As such, discussing these methods is not allowed on this forum.
