Running an E7, pre-anna, my battery would last about a day, no social,1 email account,calendar, and lots of 10 min calls. after installing sleeping screen battery life improved.

After Anna, now using a mail for exchange, as well as all pre-anna stuff mentioned above, playing more music than before, use of phone has stayed the same and now last even longer. So now phone is doing even more on even less battery.

My anna update included 25.007 patch. Dont know if any of that will help anyone, but definitely nokia sleeping screen made a huge difference, which being in electronics makes no sense at all, ( I figure if you are displaying something then you must be using more power so in turn battery should drop quicker, but it doesnt)

Last couple of weeks... charging my N8 during the night, using it 10-20 mins for internet. Using App Stop to kill all running processes and have MFE with google. From 7am till 6pm, less then 12h. Acceptable??? N8 is just 1 yr old now... Contacted Nokia Care, but no reply (after 3 days)... no service !!!

This problem of poor battery performance has been reported by many. But at the same time, others running Anna have reported am increase in performance just like post at the start of this page. I personally have found the battery satisfactory as I'm a heavy user with lots of browsing and gaming each day and I get an average life of 24 hours. I wonder why this difference in performance...
