Software update my maps disappeared

Sirs,

 

I use E71, and updated the software resently. My maps disappeared - why and how do I get them back. The phone tells me tha I have to install a program.

 

Updating software is a serious thing to do. You are almost kicked back to Square One and have to start all over again. My internet connection is very poor.
