I have a Nokia 6085 running v4.30 firmware (RM-198) and installed NSU on my road laptop in order to check for newer updates, but after installing and rebooting, launching the newly-installed NSU generates a popup error message "You must restart your system for the configuration changes to take effect. Click Yes to restart now, or No if you want to restart later."
I have uninstalled NSU and re-installed it several times (always rebooting in between), but the unhappy behavior pattern of NSU insisting it needs to reboot the system remains stuck and I can't get beyond that popup. Before I uninstall both NSU and then PC Suite (v7.1.64.0), then reboot and reinstall both applications, I thought I'd post a query here regarding other actions which might resolve the updater issue without having to uninstall/reinstall the Suite.
BTW, this laptop is running WinXP SP3.

I've seens that trick and it works
hello I have the same problem when NSU start allways ask for pc restart i found that the problem is a key on registry that have to be removed and on some installation remain before make changes to registry allway made a save of it then run regedit and go to the follow key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Once\CCDReboot delete the CCDRebbot key and NSU then run properly
