Have a look at the article below, probably you have a branded model:

By the way have you a look at this site:

Hi Sekhonjs,
if the second link only gives you V30 then there is no way to get the V31 without voiding the phone´s warranty (details can´t be discussed here...).
FW releasing policy isn´t quite clear with Nokia...nobody really knows if, when, or why FW are released...
I guess you´ll just have to wait and to check periodically... ![]()
Good luck! ![]()

I have the same problem in Singapore.
I then took my fone to the Nokia svc centre, and they told me what i already knew i dont have the latest fw ,They ask me to leave the fone at the shop for 2 - 3 days ( my fone is just over 3 days old) for them to update it to 30.X.
In the meanitime I have problems with Music player. Songs listed but show as "No Songs" when I click on them.

Sounds like an incomplete update. Before an update is done you (they) need to back up the files, settings, contacts, etc. Then do the update, then restore the backup.
If you can see the songs on your memory card when viewed from your PC, you may just need to refresh the list (options in the music player).

I have had ongoing problems with playing music causing the phone to freeze. The phone indicates that there are no music files but they can be readily accessed through the file manager application and will play. Have lost count of the number of times I have refreshed the library.
Just installed the latest version of Nokia Ovi Suite (which by the way is a bug ridden disaster they are trying to fix). It tells me I need to upgrade to version 31 something. My phone is currently showing versioin 21 something.
Based on the info provided here I will stop hassling Nokia about it and go to the service provider (Optus). Can't help thinking that the music player problems may have been solved by the later upgrades.

I am still on fw 21.X.
My Music player problems seem are solved after re-formating the Memory card.
It sems like quite a few people are having worst problems aftert upgrading their fw.
