you could just record your entire night on the voice recorder then use a program like cool edit pro to looks at the sound wave and cut out the louder noises that may be you talking.

Recording a full night will lead to a big file. But snore inspector looks for extra noise and starts recording. When no noise is present it stops recording.

i really don't understand how every other phone has apps for this and nokia has nothing the iphone has like 20 apps

It's because third party developers are not interested in Symbian anymore.

Ya Ray is correct the third party developers are looking for the OS that is improving and not the one that is going down(Symbian).
