You will be disappointed if you are expecting Nokia to reply to your demand in this Forum. 

For a start the next release will be PR2.0.  And they have stated in one of the other interminable threads concerning PR 1.1 and PR 2.0 that they have no intention of telling people when they expect the next release to be available.

Actually i am asking because On the internet it has been said that nokia will give a updated browser and a portrait QWERTY.Will the update be released this year or next year

i guess everybody has to change their mobile phones as its very very annoying having a nokia set because nokia dosnt update their devices **beep** reallyyy, Andriod rocksss!!!!

Nokia will never bring out an android phone which is a shame. The next line of n series devices will have windows mobile os. A very silly choice if you ask me! At the end of the day there is nothing wrong with symbian, Its just that quite a few software developers cant be bothered to learn it and support it. When Nokia do start rolling out windows phones and im ready to get a new phone, im sad to say i too will turn to the dark side and get something with android. Ive been with Nokia phones for YEARS but if Nokia can no longer give me what i want for a device then i will simply go elsewhere. All that said, i think my n8 is fantastic including the operating system
