cow07, my APAC information is far from complete or up to date.

I have no info on 0543843 and 0539343 appears to be APAC 1 ME, which would mean only simplified chinese and english would be available.

Klan, 0535854 is a APAC-W 7373 and should contain English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Hindi.

Ray: I purchased an E61 off eBay for use in the U.S. (Cingular only offers the E62 for the person who ranted we need to buy 'local'/'legitimate' devices if we want to avoid problems). I "thought" I got a UK version so that I could use "English" (or whatever version Nokia believes is "English" ... However... The product code on the back is 0530096 and when it was flashed/upgraded it was ALMOST fine, except that several of the keys on the bottom are now Arabic characters and a few other oddities with the "upper-case" characters... Can you tell me what I got? I believe it is a Euro-Silver-2 version, but I don't know what that means (besides "you've been had"...). THANKS!!!!! Charles

atradem0, E61 0530096 is Euro-Z Arabic. It's been well discussed on here, see this thread as just one of the many examples.

If it helps, my friend just did his FW upgrade - and it "appears" to be correct. I don't know the Dutch language well enough to know if there are any variations to the 26-letter Roman alphabet, but he believes all his keys are correctly mapped.

Thank you for the great service you've offered to this group - I understand how it is not very helpful when people get frustrated with YOU, when YOU have no control over decisions.

I also admire that you hold-fast to your agreements with the folks at the forum - and that even when others try to shortcut the system (and your agreements) that you stand firm against the plaintive cries....grin...

However as you say it's operator branded and assuming you got it directly from the operator then you should not lose anything, including the ads unfortunately.

nikant, 6131 code 0532330 according to my information is Euro-H Greek.

You should have nothing to worry about as it appears to be a legitimate Greek device.
