Hi all,

When running my update for firmware, through the standalone update program, or through Ovi suite, the update process turns off my phone, then the program reports it has lost USB connectivity, argggggggghhh!! Of course it has, it's just turned then phone off through the process!!!!!!!

Any help here would be greatly appreciated after a couple of ignored emails to Nokia

with standalone program you mean the *#0000# on the phone or Nokia Software Updater?

have you tried reinstalling them?
maybe try with a pc/laptop that never had those programs before.

Hi Pav,

I have tried the stand alone software updater, have deleted the old one, reinstalled a ne one, and tried updating through Ovi Suite.

It starts installation

The phone gets turned off

The update program reports it has lost connectivity and to try again

To no avail

Im stuck on 0.14 OS and Nokia refuse to get back to me. Ridiculous.

Am I really the only person who has had this issue ?!!
