Hi All. I need a bit of advice on the N8 update. I have a branded N8 (tmobile) and the product code is 059D4S1 and the update is showing on my phone's software update but only as a PC update. Here is my issue. I have a mac (OS 10.3) so can't update using Nokia Ovi suite. I have managed to individually update ovi store and quickoffice but need to update to 013.016.

I have tried by going through the device updates option then check for updates but get the following message "operation time-out" through the tmobile server and the nokia server gives me the message "server not responding". Can I connect my Nokia N8 to my mac , download the software to my mac, copy it to my phone via USB then install?

There is a *NEW*  software update available from Nokia beta site   no idea if there is a mac version (worth a look)   

Alternativly  your local phone store sometimes has update facility.
