Old 5140i - re firmware and the PTT function

Hi all

I know the 5140i is an old phone but I love it's functions and ruggedness.

When mine finally died I got a "re-furbed" replacement.

My old 5140i had no PTT funtion, the big button on the R/H side activated the voicetag function (i use a lot)

My new "re-furb" one has this PTT function thing on the big R/H button (i do not need or want it)

Is this a firmware revision thing ? ( I don't think it is a settings thing as I have chercked all the options listed in the menus)

If so, is the PTT funtion an earlier firmware revision or a later one ?
