I already have the latest version of ovi suite installed on my pc and i am using the charging cable supplied with c7. It seems that India hasn't received the PR1.2 update via ovi suite/NSU.

my tolerance to update vanished....and switched to other phone. Thou i like N8 hardware..software update spoils the brand image.....hope nokia review that in this fast changing world.

yeah mate just the normal way ota i was abusing nokia and vodafone by phone and email then about 2 weeks later i could get the update???

so far only noticed on the pr1.2 the screen rotates faster than the pr 1.1 woop ti do.......

hey i am havin a big problem with my nokia n8 .its says european manufacting at the bottom and some of my software doesnt work what can be my problem ?????i cant get any updates i dont have wifi what do i need to download ???i  tryed nokia ovi suite and i cant get my phone connected to it so can someone tell me what to do plzzz asap

I'm sorry to say but it sounds like you have a fake Nokia.  Try *#0000# and see if your phone displays a software version, product code, etc.  If not and if you cannot connect to OVI suite, it's a fake and it won't update.

Mine showed All Application already up-to-date while I should get Anna as your exel file mentioned Product Code: 059C8T6 with Software Version 014.002, please helping me please!
