DO NOT TRY to update your Nokia X6 using the Windows 7 64-bit version. It will not work, because the updater isn't Win7 64-bit compatible.

You mean software updater? or Ovi Suite? It works on Win7.

The Software Updater and the Ovi Suite uses a same application module for the update procedure and this module of the software isn't Win7 64-bit compatible.
Symptoms: When the updater starts actual update (after update download), it will check the connection between the phone (in fact it will try to change the connection mode between the PC and the phone). In this phase the X6 will crash out and the updater will inform that the connection between the phone is disappeared. If you browse Windows's event logs or wathing running processes, you will notice that there was a problem with a driver. The information about this driver roused my suspicion that there is the compability problems with Win7 64-bit.
Ps. I updated my phone using the Win XP SP3 32-bit without any problems...

I am sorry, but I used the version 2.4.5 already. Maybe it is my phone which isn't compatible.
