1. Messaging:

If the SMS delivery reports are ON, after I send a message and lock the keyboard (screen off), the phone alerts me by sound and only the accept/reject call buttons are light. It should light the screen to be able to see which SMS was delivered.

2. Tactile Feedback

If the battery is low (1-3 bars) and the tactile feedback is on, when writing a message using the onscreen virtual keyboard, sometimes (1 out of 4-5 clicks) the display doesn't vibrate.

3. On-screen Alerts:

Also, when the screen is off (locked) if the phone completes charging, it only beeps (sound alert) and only the call answer/reject tactile buttons are light. The screen should light up also for a few seconds to be able to read that the charge is complete (normal Nokia behavior - see 5800 XpressMusic)

4. Ringtones:

When having a short .mp3 file as a ringtone, if you get called, after it plays once, it doesn't start over. Tested on the default (General) profile.

5. Screen:

Sometimes when you are receiving a call and need to activate the screen using the screen release button on the side you sometimes have to flick the switch several times to get the screen to activate. This can be irritating when you need to get the dialer application up when you are using some automated system (i.e. calling your bank etc.)

N-Gage, which worked perfectly on the v10 firmware, cannot install in the v11 firmware. Is there going to be a client for the v11 software released in the future?

Hi, my N97 mini 11.0.045 works fine except that the backlight does not  activate when a new SMS is received. It should work the same way as for an incoming voice call.

In the meantime I’m using Best Reminder to activate the backlight after 30 seconds (reminds you every 30seconds after this point until you acknowledge the message).

Hi.... IM facing  a problem with my Nokia N97 mini that I purchased  two days ago... everytime i boot up my phone, after the nokia shake hand boot screen, always pop up a welcome nokia message, then it will send out a message to a number.... how to deactivate this function as its really irritating... hope somebody will helps..thanks

Hi!

I updated my nokia n97 mini with v11.0.045 and i have the following problem when playing videos with realplayer (mp4 videos 320x240, also rmvb videos): after some seconds ~43-57sec. the video stops playing and the sound continues playing. All videos used are uploaded using nokia video manager, so they are properly converted. This problem was not available before update. Also phone starts slower now.

I think I found the problem!

I am currently using Nokia Video Manager (Nokia PC Suite v.7.1.40.6) which is always converting the video files at dimensions 320x240 when transfering videos to the mobile. I tried to upload even video files specifically made at the correct size for n97 mini - 640x360, but after using nokia video manager they automatically received the wrong dimensions (320x240).

Tha videos are playing correctly with no problem ONLY when dimensions are 640x360! and ONLY when in format MP4(this is with best quality) and also played in WMV but with low quality. If using Avi, whatever the dimensions, the video won't play.

I played the files in the correct dimensions by uploading them to the phone without Nokia Video Manager but just pasted them in the explorer folder itself, just to avoid converting. The files were previously converted in the correct dimensions using Format Factory v2.30.

So, the real problem is the dimensions of the converted videos which are set by default in Nokia Video Manager v.7.1.40.6 for n97 mini - they should be 640x360!

First thing to say is that 11.0.045 fixes many of the serious bugs that were a major problem with 10.0.020, such as the 'white screen of death' when you switch the phone off then back on again.  However, I have found a few small bugs/issues with the 11.0.045 software:

1)  When viewing the 'Applications' grid, the kinetic scrolling is awful (jerky and very slow) until the screen has had about 10-15 seconds to 'settle in' or whatever it does.

2)  After opening an html email in the browser from messages, the browser sometimes locks up and does not return to the email message.  The only option is to turn the phone off and then on again.

3)  No noticeable battery life increase over version 10.0.020

4)  No noticeable speed increase over version 10.0.020

I've just checked my product code this morning on the 'can I update my software' page of Nokia's UK website and it tells me that 11.0.102 is now the latest version available.  Whilst NSU doesn't agree and tells me that 11.0.045 is the latest, I'm sure that's just down to a short delay in Nokia updating its servers.  Does anyone know if 11.0.102 is significantly different to 11.0.045? Should we be setting up a new discussion entitled 'Nokia N97 Mini v11.0.102 Bugs/Errors (Please Post Them Here)'?

Just discovered this a while ago, hope this is a one-time bug only. I was editing song details in the All Songs window, the particular mp3 file was currently playing. When I exited from the Song Details window after changing the Song Name and Artist, the song list display was corrupted! Texts overlapped, and when I scrolled down, half of the screen was blackened. I have to close all running programs to remove the bug.

Hi I have N97 mini for quite some time and there has been no issue until now what i am facing is a problem with lock key and main menu key. The lock key works but sometime it doesn't and phone keeps on vibrating by its own after unlocking. sometime phone locks itself with random vibration. i have tried taking battery off from mobile and even hard reset but still the problem is there. Also when my phone is locked and if i press menu key nothing happens (if there was no problem then it should say unlock your phone). but when i press volume keys or camera key then it starts to work normally. I also have SPB shell installed on my phone and when i use this application then there is no problem of any kind. i don't know what to do now. Can someone help me or suggest something? Sorry for bad english.

Just upgraded my Nokia N97 Mini from version 11.0.020 to 11.0.045.

Everything seems fine to me, except one tiny thing: I can't reply to text messages!

The reply-button is 'greyed out' and I can't find the option anywhere in the menu. Anyone here with an explanation of the problem or a probable solution?

SOMETIME THE VIBRATION WORK COUPLE OF TIME. N ITS STOP AGAIN.

ALREADY RESTORE THE SETTING, FORMAT,

KINDLY HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
