I'm not certain that this is a 'bug' since this behaviour is common. The lock code protects your personal data, not the phone itself, and since the hard reset wipes data there is nothing left to protect.

I presume you are referring to the "modern art" being blurred. If this was taken in 'automatic' mode, have you also tried the different specific modes such as the close-up modes?

regarding this new focus, I belive Nokia should bring back old "centre weighted" focus along side this new "spot" focus, as we should be able to choose which focus to use, otherwise we end up with problems as described above.

Same thing happen to me with my "deodorant stick" macro image mode (close up), stick was in the macro center, however focus went on the far left side, some totally irrelevant detail got focused

Not close up but also nothing for the Landscape mode. The focus is totally missing, or can you find it anywhere?

btw.

I had more then 900 photos in my picture galery. Since yesterday my new photos were not safed! They were overwritten by old files from mid September from my Vienna trip. Nice to see my old photos again but something works really bad. I had to delete all my photos to fix this, I hope so ....

As for red/pink Music icon, I don't get option "Move to folder" so I can't remove it from main menu.

i did the 7370 reset of my n86 and got back the pink music icon, makes me happy. but ovi store client and email client not working properly since then, what to do ? is there any why to download fresh email client.

My N86 keypad tones doesn't make any sound when dialing after updating to v20.115 FOTA.  Anybody got this problem too?

Adding again. N86 got faster received gps indicator on ovi maps. BUT, WHEN YOU ARE TRY GPS DATA, IS JUST ONLY WAITING FOR GPS AFTER INTERNET CONNCETION ACTIVE CHANGE TO CALCULATING GPS DATA AND THEN SHOW NO CONNECTION. NOKIA PLEASE TAKE OUT THIS FIRMWARE AND THEN CHANGE OR UPGRADE TO V21 WITH MAX DOWNLOAD SIZE 8MB OR BETTER TO BRING ANY FIX BUG AND SOMECHANGELOG, AND PLEASE ADD MOBILE TV APPLICATION WITH SU-33. Thanx

I also posted this ona another thread named generically "N86 bugs list", but since I have 20.115, I will also post here.

The phone was locked, slider closed. Out of curiosity, I started pressing the buttons under the screen: soft keys (without unlocking the phone), call end key, direction pad, then I pressed the green "call" button. The backlight stayed off, but the call list appeared, even if the keyboard was locked! I was not able to navigate through the call list, because the keypad was locked (yeah... right...), but I also could not unlock it any more. I operated the locking side button, opened and closed the slide both ways, opened the camera cover, closed it, tried to do anything to unlock the keypad. The phone stayed on the call list, but it was responding somehow, since it went to power saving from time to time. I could "wake" it up pressing "up" on the d-pad, but the list selection would not move throughout the call list. The only solution was to remove the battery, since the power button was not operable (you guessed it, keypad locked).

After restarting the phone, I could not reproduce the bug any more.

When I reproduced the bug, the phone was running for about 6 days (since the software update that is, when it was last restarted) and the running apps were: Contacts, e-Mail, Log, Music Player, but they were all "idle". No music was playing the the e-mail client was not sync-ing.

This firmware has a lot of many many bugs. That i can say this firmware very very very unstable, still beta why realese, if this maintenance server usually their are know this some error with server to realease the firmware so fast, why they dont try to push out or anything, and trying to fix it ASAP. 4 ex : this device come with ovi and web made by hand. But 4 ovi store apps. Every time want to sign in its always crash and shutdown automatic, i dont know if some one have faced problem like me, or absolutely. And 4 maps some time succes sometime crashe when i tried synchron to ovi but this feature synchron not important, cause in my country i can't get feature 3d building. And some times when i tried sign in to forum , fb, or ovi via default web browser suddenly crashes and close randomly. I heard that N97 will get an update of default browser. Which more stable when we are surving to the net. That any still chance to nokia to fix this problem ASAP. Cause this flagship camera phone. Or u will lost consument. Forget it. That i wish.

Means, If I send the sms at 3.06pm then the Delivered report will be generated immediately with time stamp of 1.03pm. 2. Keypad tones are not working only when I m in standby mode and dialling the no. But else everywhere its working. 3. Battery performance is still not improved at all. 4. I did not find any improvements in image performance. 5. A very old bug is still not resolved. Its in sms menu. When I m sending the bulk sms and when i start selecting the multiple names, at that time if I m filtering the names of contacts by alphabets then at suddenly I loose the selected list of contacts. This happen when I m doing the process of filteration of contacts by alphabets at a faster speed. Well, I hope that nokia will take a notice of my post and they will act on it. What can i say? A BIG THANX to all Nokia staff for a VERY BUGGED FIRMWARE UPDATE for my N86....You have ruined a very good phone, congratulations.....!!

Dial tone when i compose a phone number are simply disappeared, bug in menu animation and so on...

WE ARE NOT YOUR BETATESTERS....I WANT OLD 11.43 AGAIN......!!!!

Yes, I can also confirm that DTMF tones during the number entry in idle state have gone, while beep tones produced by non-numeric keys are still there. It would be good to have the DTMF back.

And there is a new bug to report - spontaneous restarts. I've seen it at least three times - the phone was at idle on the table, and without any visible event, it restarted, ending in the same idle state as before :-).

I also confirm in home screen while typing phone number to call, keypad tones don't work, in all  other situations they do.
