can anyone confirm that nokia has released a new firmware v31 for n79, when's the release date, coz i can't update my firmware, i has v30, or is this update available only inside UK

Downloaded this morning via NSU. Location Italy, version 31.002.53.1 date 25/08/2009 RM-348.

Phonebook bug solved, Finally! Overall system speed increased.

i also found out that 31.101 is Global version while 31.002 is the european version....

How come there are two versions on NSU,

1. 31.002.53.1----Dated --(25-08-2009)

2. 31.101.53.1--- Dated --(08-10-2009)

Can any one tell the diffrence

I also updated my N79 from buggy v30.019 to v31.002 via NSU my location is Egypt

really all bugs are solved and overall performance is good better than new

but my product code dosen't have v31.101 update i've the v31.002 euro update only and its ok for me:robotwink:
