Apologies if this has already been addressed, have searched but could not find.  Have just got a new factory Carbon Arte, yes genuine, and as I have the latest PC Suite installed on PC thought I'd check for updates prior to entering all my stuff, pluged in and the updater did its stuff, phone detected, current firmware 7.10, update 9.41, great thinks I, proceed.  At some stage during the download the phone is switched off and the update ofcourse has failed.  Have tried a number of times same thing.  Is there anthing I'm missing or need to do.

Same here with the Arte, no luck getting update to work and nothing on search....wish Nokia would get their act together on this!!

I have the same problem! I can't update from 7.1 to the new version 9.xx !!! PLEASE HELP!! The updater works pretty well, it downloads the software and starts updating but then he looses the connection to my 8800 carbon.

The phone reboots but nothing happens?! 

My phone is 100% original .... so much money and the updater doesnt work.... shame....

NOKIA PLEASE HELP !

Tryed to update my carbon arte from v.7. to v.10 using Ovi Suite. Everything works well. Then: connection lost and finished.

Tryed several times. No way to do this.

Ha! Used NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER. Everything worked well!

Solved the problem.
