Nokia 6300 Software Update Crashes - Please Help!

I was trying to update my Nokia 6300 a week back, and due electricity problem my system restarted. I started the process again but the software did not find the cell phone attached. The cell stopped working, only the blue lights blink nothing else. I sent the phone to a service center (not Nokia one) and they said that it is impossible to repair it and are demanding half of the price of phone to fix it it without any guarantee!. My cell phone only does not have the software in it? Is this that big problem? Can it be fixed?.. Please help me out.

Only a nokia care point can fix this for you as they have the correct equipment to sort it out. There is nothing that you can do yourself and the non-nokia service people are just trying to con you.

Good luck!

I hope the non-nokia service people didn't disassemble or tamper with your phone in any way. If they did then the nokia service people may refuse to fix it.
