Hi,

I am having a problem with my 6233.

My car has an inbuilt phone system that can work by bluetooth or a dedicated cardle. With bluetooth I get all contacts A-Z but only 1 number shows per name.

With the dedicated Nokia 6233 cradle all numbers are shown against a name. The problem is that it will only show names A-S.It doesn't display names T through to Z.

The problem must be software related (Phone or Vectra Headunit). I have tried another 6233 in the car and I get the same result. Vauxhall have tried the phone in another car and get the same result.

Confused. Any halp appreciated as to why I can't get all contacts! The phone is Version 3.7.

[I show all the index letters A-Z, but some contacts do not display. Newly contacts always displayed. I then sync'd my contacts with outlook using Nokia PC Suite, deleted them from the phone and reloaded the contacts from Outlook to the phone. This time different contacts were not visible and some contacts that were previously visible were not].

Just check whether the contacts exist on both Phone Memory and SIM card. The phone gets confused if it meets such a situation. Delete the duplicate numbers on the SIM and you will find all the numbers displayed.
