Hello, At first I would like to thank all those working on the development of Nokia phones.

Then I would also offer a group of problems which discovered in the latest  firmware for Nokia 5800 (v40.0.005).

Problems (bugs):

- Some application icons are multiplied.

- Some application icons are hided (Icon transparent).

- Sometimes (when the sensors enabled) I restart the phone and find that the sensors do not work (Its still enabled in settings menu), and to solve the problem, I disable it then restart the device and then re-enable them. 

- The device becomes slower with the passage of time

- Software updater always failed to install python and scribble, even installing using Nokia Ovi Suite failed.

Adds:

- Add a way to open (Now playing screen) from media bar at home screen (because the way to open it  is long , you should open menu then go to Music then now playing, or from shortcut bar.

- Gallery recognize all multimedia files (images-swf-video) even if it was not located in Image folder or Video folder, this good and bad, so add an option to only searching for multimedia file in the default media folder will be great, because some applications based on swf files or some image files (For example: PowerMp3, Flashlight) make the gallery unorganized.

1. multiplying application icons and transparent icons are signs that the files for that icon/app have been corrupted.

2. This may also be a symptom of file corruption, especially if the corrupted apps do make use of the accelerometer sensors.

3. Slower with time may be referring to the phone using up its memory or RAM. Corrupted files do eat up RAM as they are constantly accessing something. One of the other symptoms of corrupted files are "installer already in use" even if it isnt.

4.To open now playing from homescreen, simply go to the task manager by holding menu button and selecting which open application you want to open.

Thank you for your reply, About accelerometer sensors point, It is for all phone not a spacefic program, for example turning the screen into landscape mode not working in this case(Firmware issue).

And I can see that many bugs cased by corrupted files (app or icons) as you say.

So what is the reason for that? How to solve this?

What about the rest? Can you help me in this?

Doing a reset of both phone and memory card should make the phone work great, and do a firmware update. You will lose a lot of data though, as you should back up to the PC using Ovi Suite everything except settings. All your installed apps will also be gone, but any problem that's in the phone that is not a firmware bug would be erased. Make a copy of your song and pictures/videos too in your PC.

To format memory card, go to Menu>Applications>File manager>Memory Card>options>memory card options>format

to format phone, type *#7370# on dial pad.

You will lose all data, but it should fix all of your problems except the Now Playing. I could suggest you download PowerMp3 if you want and put that on shortcuts bar.

Usually I do this solution every 4-5 months to solve some problems, but i think this is a foible in Nokia systems!

Whatever, this don't work well for this issue:

Because it was happened from the previous firmware.

Also the biggest problem which I faced is :

I can't find a solution for it , also i noticed that if the phone located in a cold room (AC on 20 degree or lower) the problem will happen, and the lock button can't fix the it immediately.

(I should wait for 5 min. or restart the phone to fix this)

Also this still a problem for me:

For the software updater bug, could I ask how much phone memory you have left? Also, for the screen bug, it seems that it COULD be a hardware problem.
