Well, the new firmware just completly ruined my phone. Now I can no longer conenct to the internet with it, so, I might as well through t out the window. I was so happy when I saw the new update facts, and considering that I have updated to v11 really fine, I got really excited about the new firmware, but surprize, nokia pc suite can no longer make the connection to the internet using the phone
And this is just 1 of almost 20 major bugs I counted in the new firmwqare, from phone freezing, to applications misbihaving.
Is there any way to reset the phone to the initial firmware? I have a backup, but will it change the firmware to? Or just the applications on it? Because I no longer want to make tests to my phone using nokia's software.

If you have ask me last week I would say the same "only good came with v20" but a small glitch with the unblock (like a flash) suddenly that flash became the lines of dead screen.
DAMN the day I upgrade... the worst is that I can't go back to v10 or v11

Voice Recorder bug:
When I make a voice clip with Voice Recorder (e.g. a recorded call), the voice clip doesn't appear in the Galery --> "Sound Clips" folder.
I can only find them in the Songs folder, between a thousands of music files, but only after a "Refresh library" procedure.... ![]()
Phone book search bug:
In case of Hungarian language, it's impossible to search for names which are beginning with double consonants.
E.g. I have some Contacts: Csaba, Gyorgy, Szabo, etc.
If I try to search them, After typing the first tag of the double consonant (e.g. "C" from Cs) the second tag won't be appear, and the contact itself also won't be appear. So it's so hard to find those Contacts, which are contains these type of special hungarian double consonants: CS, DZ, DZ, DZS, GY, LY, NY, SZ, TY, ZS
It's a special language-pack related bug, you can experience it only in case of Hungarian Language.
Both bugs are very serious and makes me angry....

Hi All,
The discussion boards form a user-to-user troubleshooting facility. Whilst staff from various departments within Nokia do view the boards from time to time, it cannot be guaranteed that the right people will see your post.
If you wish to give feedback to Nokia, it it best to contact Nokia Care by telephone or e-mail using the contact us tab above.

they don´t help us. I´ve called them sometime, and they just say: "do a factory reset, anything else we can´t do".
I just orderd my iPhone 3G 16 GB. My 5800 will be boxed until next FW, godbye Nokia!

Don´t give **bleep** if i´m dubble-posting!
You know the bug in the musicplayer, where the batteri-level is minus 1 ?
Try dialing a number and you get the same **bleep**!!
Screenshot from my phone, take a look at the batteri-level:
You know what? I´m done with this! I buy in average about 10-12 new phones from Nokia EVERY year, cause' i like new phones, and this i the thank-you i get? No way!! Maybe Sony Ericssons phone isn´t the same, but they WORK!!!!!

Robertkarlson,
I had the same problem with Nokia 6233. I fixed that by changing firmware. As far as several discussion members noticed that it could couse some new bugs, keep it in mind. If time receiving is very important for you therefore upgrade the firmware.
