Why nobody of Nokia's representatives dont answer to this topic and tell us something about the next Firmware Version for 5800XM and when can we expect it? I know that they are very "busy" to put as many models out for sale just to destroy other mobile phones manifacturers but it is not all about the quantity...it should be about the quality...am I right?So guys,please work on it to improve exsiting models and not just to make a new ones :-)

You will not get a comment from nokia here as this is a user to user forum.  They may have read this topic, they may not, you have no way of knowing.

V21.0.025 has been released today for some product codes (some hong kong codes so far), as per usual it may take days/weeks/months before the update is widely available.

I'm sure it won't be long until someone posts about the fixes/bugs in this new version.

This has been covered several times - Nokia stopped developing its in-house SIP client, so no new models will have it. This is a commercial decision and so unlikely to change.

In an age were SIP and VoIP is becoming more and more important (and providers in Europe even allow Skype to run VoIP over 3G)... one of the biggest phone companies is dropping SIP support... what a joke !

i believe it is now available for Hong Kong and Finnish Users - it is a minor update that has reportedly improved the UI(speedier), internet browsing(speedier) and fixed a few bugs i believe. the wait continues. perhaps more features will be introduced after the n97 hits the shelves....so the nokia 5800 doesnt take away some of the glitz of the n97....

i hope it solve the problem happen to me with last version as it remove arabic languge from this time i can not send sms or search in net bu usin arabic

second problem is screeeen it goes dark and disapere data then back again

any way i do love this 5800 and wish any one help to solve this

Hi every body,

                    Just thought I would pass this on to you all. I had the 5800 for a few days as an upgrade, nice enough  phone apart from the lack of letters on the dial pad, which you need if you have passwords set up on your network provider or bank ect. Any way, I spoke to my network about it and they weren't aware of this problem so they phoned nokia to see if there is a way around it, this is good, they were told that its not a problem with the phone and they may or may not include this as an update, dont hold your breath. this is the really good bit, if i need to input letters USE ANOTHER PHONE was there answer. Guess what the phone went back.

When we play a video we have to rotate the phone left which make the speakers go down is it possible to make it rotate right so that speaker remain up...

Did the question about which Nokia mobile phones allow different message tones for each contact, ever get answered?  It would seem just as easy to program as ringtones.

1. When you write new name for destination city (or street name), the letters could be greyed when not applicable for the next letter in qwerty keyboard. When in selected country has only one city which have all the letters written allready, it could suggest that and otherwise some of those. The same when you write street name in selected city. (just like it works in Navicon)

1. When you have closed your Music Player (or radio) and you press PLAY-button in HF-speakers, the phone could start the same application again which you listened previously (if you won't listen anything allready). This is like Nokia 5310em works and it was really handy. 

2 When the phone is connected to external speakers and profile is changed to 'speakers' or applicable, there should possible to listen radio by the speakers. Why it is not possible to made a alarm which start a radio and the sound could be heard from external speakers? So you could use your phone to wake up by listening a radio with better sound quality. It's so boring to listen allways the same alarm 'noise'

I got over the issue of not having a  list of frequently or recently used text recipients by adding certain individuals as "groups" i.e. they would be the only person in the group - this allows you to go quickly to a short list.
