Hi,
Before updating the latest firmware( 60.0.003) in my nokia 5800 mobile, internet was working fine through WI-FI and GPRS communication. But after firmware upgrade (60.0.003), facing problem with internet connection(both WI-FI and gprs communication) in mobile and surprisingly I am able use the internet in my PC through mobile gprs(using Nokia Suite 3.2.100 --> Tools --> Connect to Internet). Can any one help me on this?

@sridhar_5800
Possible solution would be to backup essential data then "hard reset" device but don't restore settings and see if this works.

i having a same problem with my nokia,,,but how i can hard reset my device
Have a look here ... Back-up data first as the Reset will wipe all data from the Phone Memory...
..but IF your problem is NOT exactly same (.. I am able use the internet in my PC through mobile gprs ) .. then delete all existing Access Points and request your Operator to send Fresh setting, Save them when you receive them thru' SMS and confirm if the problem is resolved..Keep the Hard Reset solution as the LAST option..

Thanks for your quick response. Mobile internet is not working even after hard reset. So I re installed the same version of firmware but still problem existing.
Is it works, if I downgrade the firmware version in my mobile?. If yes, please let me know procedure for downgrade.
Thanks in advance.

You CAN NOT Downgrade the Firmware...
Did you try reconfiguring the Access Points..?

I tried with reconfiguring access points but still same error "connection not available".

Can you try connecting without the Memory card ? Though it may sound wierd, I faced a similar problem recently where the connection was OK without the MC...

Yes, It worked after removing MMC card from mobile. Thanks for the quick solution.

Now my Mobile internet is working with MMC (format of MMC is not required).
Solution : Remove and reinsert mobile MMC card
