Sir,
i have Nokia 5310 Xpress Music. its Version is 5.81. i want to update from 5.81 to v7.01. Whem i am tyring to update using software updater, an error message always come. it shows " sorry, the nokia upadater service is currently unavailable, please disconnect your device and
try again later" after this when i click try again means it shows another error message that unable to retrieve the phone details.what can i do? or what i have to do ?. plaese tell me. i do not know whether it is updater problem or my phone problem. please tell me correct solution for that.

Support for Nokia 5310, Nokia 6500 Classic and Nokia 7900 Prism has temporarily been removed from the Nokia Software Updater service. Other Nokia products are not affected. Support will be reinstated as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sooooo... Any idea when the software will be back up, if ever?

I'm stuck on the original out-of-the-box firmware, having just got my phone, and it's pretty useless with the completely broken MP3 player and various other bugs.

Seriously, this is pretty poor. It's bad enough it needs a fix to start with, it's a total joke the software has been unavailable since the 11th.

If there's nothing in the next couple of days I'll just take it back to where I got it from, and swap it for anything that's not a Nokia.

when i updated from version 8 to 9 ,,, it downloaded the update, and showed 'error'   and no w my phone is blank,,. it won't start ,,, like dead ,,.. what should i do ...
