Don’t forget, it’s recommended that you always have the latest software installed so your device is running as smoothly as possible. The application enhancements availability may also vary in your country.

To refresh your phone, simply follow these instructions:

1.            Select Applications > (Tools >) SW Updates.

2.            Choose the software or the apps you'd like to update.

3.            Follow the instructions.

I've just installed latest version of Ovi maps (OVI maps 3.06 11wk10 b01),

also I downloaded from Ovi suite new language for my country (female- with road names),  but I don't have it visible onto my device (n97mini) (I only able to see a Female-polish voice).

Could  you advice?

It has been posted previously where streetnames voice file won't appear that if you install Nokia´s Own Voice application, it will refresh your list of installed languages after installation.

Thanks for reaplay but still I have issue even I installed Nokia's Own Voice (I downloaded one of avaliable voices and are visible in properties in OVI maps).

I still not able to see polish Kobieta- z nazwami ulic (female  - streetnames).

Ok I find solution for issue why are not apearing new voice's packs in the optons menu..

after transfer voice pack onto devce from ovi sute you have to logon to symbian ovi maps account (app will connect with internet) then you will have visible new package in the properities,.

on my n97 it works fine!

Following the procedure application > tools > update it says on my mobile all software is up to date so where this SR6 maps???

Where can we find a release note or change log for this release? I have a C6-01 and already updated Ovi Maps to the latest version, but I haven't noticed any changes, except perhpaps, for a little performance improvement.

It would be so nice if Nokia published release notes together with any new software releases...

is this the update 3.6.688 from ovi store?

This update (3.6.688) is for users who have the official v3.06 installed on there device but I think OVI store app has a few bugs as it gets a bit confused if you have a newer beta version of this app. As such my store is asking me to install this update even though I have the newer beta version v3.08 (v3.8.76) installed. In view of this, just ignore the update unless you want to revert back to v3.06.
